Whenever possible, always select a medical provider in your Preferred Provider Network which is Open Access Plus (OAP), a Cigna Network. You must select as your plan ‘Open Access Plus, Open Access Plus Tiered’. Using a network medical provider will save you money and they will bill the insurance directly!
Orange Coast College (OCC) Student Health Center

Upon initial enrollment, you will receive a Confirmation Email and receipt from Compass Student Insurance acknowledging your enrollment and purchase. Within the following 5-7 days, you will receive a subsequent email from Compass Student Insurance, the Welcome Email, including a link to creating a password protected MyInsurance Account. This account will provide you necessary plan documents – such as your Insurance ID card, plan brochure and policy, claim forms, and other helpful details.

Telehealth Service
There are times when a visit to a doctor’s office is difficult to manage. But with Cigna Global telehealth through Cigna Envoy and the Cigna Envoy App, you have the opportunity to speak with licensed doctors - by phone or video - for non-emergency health issues. You can schedule an appointment 24 hours a day.
Services are offered in multiple languages, which may include Arabic, Cantonese, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Malay, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai and more! What can telehealth be used for?

Student Assistance Program (ASAP) & Online Health Education - Future Health
FutureHealth is an online mental health and wellness resource that is included with your health insurance.
Part of FutureHealth is A Student Assistance Program (ASAP) which combines the online mental health resources provided by FutureHealth with a free hotline. These services do not have any out-of-pocket expenses to the student.

You have access to additional mental health support while in the U.S.
Headspace Care has created an integrated mental health platform where coaches, therapists, and psychiatrists work as a team to coordinate the best, personalized care for students. Coaching via text, therapy sessions via video and access to skill-building resources are all available. Students can download the Headspace Care app and speak with a behavioral health professional, all from the privacy of their mobile device. The therapy and psychiatry benefits are subject to terms of the medical policy. Download the Headspace Care app, follow the prompts, and make sure to select “My Health Plan.” You will then reach a screen asking you to enter your health plan information to verify your eligibility. What is the difference between Urgent Care Clinics and Convenient Care? Urgent Care Centers are larger than Convenient Care Clinics and offer a broader range of services such as labs and x-rays. They are equipped to handle more serious illnesses and injuries that aren't life-threatening but still require prompt attention. Cigna offers an optional dental plan that is offered to you when you purchase the Medical Plan. This plan must be booked for the entire duration of your health insurance plan.
